Our Commitment
Forest First is an initiative of The Heritage Foundation, a registered public charitable trust based in Kotagiri, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. We collect only what is necessary to operate our restoration programmes and communicate with supporters. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
What We Collect
We may collect the following information when you interact with this site or contact us:
- Name and email address (newsletter subscription, contact enquiries)
- Organisation name and designation (institutional partnership enquiries)
- General location (country/state, for regional reporting purposes only)
- Browser and device type (via standard server logs, not linked to personal identity)
We do not collect payment information directly. Donations are processed through third-party platforms that maintain their own privacy policies.
How We Use It
Information you provide is used solely to:
- Send programme updates, field reports, and newsletters (if subscribed)
- Respond to enquiries and partnership proposals
- Comply with statutory reporting obligations as a registered trust
- Improve site content and user experience in aggregate, anonymised form
Third Parties
We do not share personal information with third parties except where required by law or where you have explicitly consented. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; standard Cloudflare infrastructure logs apply.
Access and Deletion
